College Park Woods

Dear Neighbors:

We have received the following report from a resident on the 9300 block of Davidson Street:

<< My 2000 Chevy Tahoe was broken into on Friday, June 12, 2009 at approximately 1 p.m.  The perpetrator(s) accessed interior of vehicle by breaking the driver’s door window.  According to my mom (who first noticed the crime scene), the center console was opened and CD cases inside of compartment were lying on the driver’s seat.  She looked around to see if anything else was missing or tampered with, but couldn’t tell if anything was stolen.  Police were notified and response was immediate.  Police officer provided case # and took fingerprints for evidence.  At the time the officer came, I was wasn’t home to make a report and he left his contact information.  I spoke with him over the phone and he told me to see what was stolen, if any, and he would return the following day at 6 p.m.  Fortunately, to my knowledge, nothing was stolen.  Police officer did return on Saturday, June 13, 2009 @ 6 p.m. to follow up on the case, and I informed him that to my knowledge nothing looked like it was stolen. >>

The police officer also informed the victim’s mom  that this was the second vehicle break-in report received from College Park Woods that day.  (We have not received a report from the victim of the other break-in to elaborate on it.)
