We have just received the following report from one of our residents:
<< On Arpril 6th at approximately 5:30 pm, I saw from my front window 3 hispanic men in a dark green F250 Ford pickup truck (North Carolina license plate XWS-7452–only a rear plate) get out and walk to 9403 Limestone place. They went to the front door then walked around the front and side of the house. This house has been vacant for several months, is empty, and for sale (a sign is in the front yard near the street). When I asked them what they were doing they repeatedly mumbled and finally said that a friend of theirs was inside. When I asked them how he got inside, they shrugged and asked me if the house was vacant. At this point, I asked them what did [he] look like and got their license plate number. I then suggested that several hispanic people lived in the house next door, at which point they went to the front door of that house, but no one in the house responded even though three vehicles were parked at this house. They then backed down the street in their truck and turned onto Marlbrough Way headed to St. Andrews. I contacted the PGC police non-emergency number and gave a report. A little later a PGC police officer came to my house as a response to the report. I gave him the information, but, without writing it down, he only got back into his car and left.>>
Please note that even though the officer did not write down the information given, the call and response are logged at the police station and we can always call to follow up.
Please be on the look-out for vacant homes in our neighborhood, and report any criminal activity you see in progress to the police by calling 911, or any suspicious activity you observe to the police non-emergency number at 301-333-4000.
