We have just received the following report from a resident on the 9200 block of Limestone Place:
<< I thought you would want to know that our house was broken into last Tuesday [February 3rd, 2009] at about 10:50 -11:00 a.m. Our very good neighbors saw an SUV parked in front of our house and 3 guys carrying stuff out to it! They called the police, who responded promptly and treated us with the utmost professionalism and courtesy. Because of [our neighbor's] quick call to the police, I’m sure that much less was stolen than would have been, though they still got about $3,000 worth of electronic equipment. The P.G. County police detective in charge got some very good fingerprints, and he said that the m.o. of trolling along, stopping at houses with no cars in front, and one of the burglars getting out and trying doors and windows to see if they can get in easily has become more common, and there have been other break-ins in the area that follow this pattern. Maybe they will catch these guys.>>
Please be on the alert, and report any crimes in progress to 911, and suspicious activity to the County Police at 301-333-4000. For incidents in the CPW Neighborhood Park, call the Park Police at 301-459-9088. Once you have reported to the police, please report to us, so that we can spread the word to the neighborhood.
